Third National Artwork Competition held by Bhavanicdc

From the desk of Vimala Venkatesan,
"There’s a beauty that is free to grow, an expression that can be extended, a space that is fun, safe and good to be in, that’s art.”

The academic programe at the Bhavani CDC is unique as the curriculum caters to children with learning disabilities. Art, scribbling, drawing and colouring are part of the learning programme. Many a times while teaching we have realized that the students were able to understand and express themselves better through some type of art work. The spontaneous art expression in a non-judgmental atmosphere allows the students to freely articulate thoughts and feelings without the threat of repercussion The

Third National Artwork Competition was sponsored by SBBJ Jaipur, whose continuous support and encouragement has been our strength

With the deadline approaching and the couriers delivering bulky parcels, we at Bhavani CDC were thrilled with the enthusiastic participation!

Twelfth November 2009 was perhaps the busiest day for the team of Bhavani CDC as they took more than 6 hours to display the beautiful artwork to be judged.
Every corner, every display board had to be used and finally we had to set up tables in the center of the rooms too.
Another special day… Fourteenth November… Children’s Day when all the prize winners were intimated ..

The Third National Artwork Competition was
A GREAT SUCCESS
